So, I recently accepted a writer in residence in Iceland.
Thanks to Authors at Large (AAL), in conjunction with the Iowa Summer Writing Festival, I will be heading to Siglufjörður as part of the first writing workshops The Festival has offered internationally.
The festival was first established in 1987 at The University of Iowa’s campus in Iowa City, A UNESCO City of Literature.
Special thanks to the lovely writers Xu Xi and Robin Hemley!
The retreat will be held at the Siglo Hotel, in Iceland’s northernmost town, a historic fishing village.
It is located at the heart of a narrow fjord beneath towering mountains, 24 nautical miles from the Arctic.
I will be working on my second novel of a trilogy, the first being, Ezekiel.
